Moon Drip

Photographer: Brandon Yoshizawa

Edition: 1/1

As the moon rises from behind the mountain, the atmospheric distortion refracts the light causing it to look like it is melting. As moonlight passes through the atmospheric layers, it gets bent making the lower portion seem flatter and more distorted.
