Smaller (Part 1)

"Smaller" is an ongoing project that dives deep into the intricate dance between us humans and Mother Nature. With my shots spanning across the globe, I weave a story highlighting the whole relativity thing and just how insignificantly massive our human journey can be when stacked against the wild canvas of Nature.

As a humble observer, I'm trying to nudge my life back into harmony by Living respectfully in this cosmic arena. "Smaller" It's all about linking up the small with the vastness, showing off that awesome interplay that's begging for a comeback. Because I'm all in on the idea that this energy is the one and only way to reviving the equilibrium we've totally ditched. "Nothing demonstrates the greatness and power of human intellect, nor the height and nobility of man, more than the ability of man to know, fully comprehend, and deeply feel his own smallness." Giacomo Leopardi

As I strolled on Sequoia National Park and pondered about how many dimensions we can explore on this planet of ours, an 8- year-old girl, dressed in a kinda retro little dress, popped out from behind a sequoia, like she'd stepped out of a fairytale dimension. She was chill, just gazing down at the ground as if searching for something. Likely her folks were around, but right then, her small and solitary presence solidified my surreal approach to photography.
