Poetica is my way of portraiture. The images in this collection express and mirror the aspect of the soul which is usually obscured by all the expectations and definitions that we place on sensuality, sentiment, and beauty, and explore the dimension of the mind which has to do with perception and feeling, with the image and the imagination. The medium through which these facets of a human being manifest, is what I like to call “Visual Poetry”.

I’ve paired the photos with some of my own poems, not only to emphasize and complement the visually poetic quality of the images but to also recount the inner journey of self-rediscovery in multiple chapters.
