This image is from a series of images created on my first road trip out after fighting cancer for 6 months. The first half of the year seems like a blur.
I have won this battle. I have a newly found appreciation for life and everything in general and do not intend on taking it for granted.

I am grateful for the wisdom and experience of life and enjoying my 50s. I am bathing in shadows and light of black and white imagery so I can bring them to others. My work tends to pull in closer and soak up details and textures because that is what I am drawn mostly to.
