Peace

Uncertainty has always been feared and disapproved of. Yet, people who are uncertain in their beliefs tend to be more tolerant and broad-minded. They change their minds about the world around them more easily and eagerly, constantly upgrading their perspectives. Those upgrades usually don’t come instantly, but in a series of little events, thoughts, epiphanies, and life situations. The project speculates on such instances presenting them in a metaphorical way. The more uncertain people are the more open they are to learning. I hope there’s more uncertainty in the world.

The characters of our planet are often seen at eye level. The earth seen from above adds a new dimension and permits us to explore things as never done before.

Through this collection, the viewer can fully immerse himself in what is called the “Overview Effect” and see things from another point of view.

Seeing things from the "dark side of the moon" allows us not only to appreciate the world from above, but also to clear our minds, to get new perspectives and glimpses of the bigger picture, which is impossible to get with feet on the ground.

The sound of the sea is a collection based all in my region, Liguria. My land is where my photography was born, where I had my first idea, and of course, where my career was born.

I’ve decided to dedicate an entire collection to secret and hidden locations, spread along the coast, far away from the classic view, that can perfectly tell the essence of my land and the water. And yes, water has a specific sound, the sound when it crashes into the rocks, the sound of the surf of the calm sea, the sound of its inhabitants, the sound of the sun when it goes down. My collection it’s full of breath when you’re alone sitting on a rock, beholding the water, with its unceasing movement and sound.

The sound of the sea

It was September 2016 and my first adventure in the marvelous Canadian land, a journey full of hopes and excitement. I was looking for the ultimate landscape experience and thanks to my friend Rob that accompanied me during this trip I was able to capture the essence of Canadian wilderness as I imagined reading books and novels. I was inspired by Tolkien's Imagery and by the Visuals produced for popular movies. Thanks to research and a pinch of luck, I captured some of the most memorable images of my career forever linked to my soul and memories.

A journey into Middle Earth

Mountains have always fascinated me. In my five years in landscape photography, they have always been one of my favorite subjects.

In my eye, mountain formations resemble parts of the human body. I have this story in my head where they are actually sleeping titans and I am filled with this sense of calm as I watch them sleep. The sun splashes golden light on those distant peaks and it does not bother the sleepers––the dreamers. Perhaps they are protecting us. Guiding us somehow.

I have always felt grounded and more connected to the world when I am on a mountain. I feel as though they are trying to speak to me, and to photograph them is the only way I can hold that connection and understand what they are trying to say.

“Call of the Titans” is a current collection of 16 1/1 images captured from across the world over five years.

Graphics, geometrical shapes, and patterns are present in nature and in all our surroundings. They have a strong effect on what we find visually appealing and artistic.

This collection was inspired by displaying balance and harmony along with a sense of rhythm and symmetry formed by graphics and patterns we see all around us in our daily lives.

I believe black and white photography emphasizes this beauty in a timeless and effective manner.

I search for visions that are elegant and aesthetically pleasing to the eye in every part of my life, and I would like to present to you my interpretation of such visions in this collection.

Orogeny: Eternal Stones

A bird's eye view celebration of Italian icons, some of which are well known landmarks, now revisited from a totally different perspective. In most cases, the aerial view has the power of turning our perception of everyday life into something more valuable and richer because of the distant, serene impression conveyed by the elevated perspective especially when it comes to complex and busy city environments.

All of those elements are conveyed with the distinctive, evocative and almost painterly style often associated with my images.

For more than 15 years I have been exploring remote villages and settlements in my country. Surprisingly, so many places have remained almost the same as in the past. Sometimes, it seems that time has simply frozen there. And in my photographs, I try to preserve a piece of the past in our fast-paced and changing world. My goal is to show the beauty and uniqueness of places that many have forgotten about. In this photo, the small village Dunilovo.

In the 19th century, industry and trade flourished here, ships sailed along the river. Now only memories remain. And most of the merchant houses in the village are closed or abandoned.

Peaceful morning

I believe each flower in nature is a soul blossoming. Each bloom has hope, spirit and a unique vibe. I feel flowers are those friends that console at the time of grief or disappointment and spread happiness & bring comfort to your soul and a smile on your face. With this collection and each of my colorful Fine Art Floral Artwork I am trying to convey a unique story, mood, emotions or expression.

Pastel Rainbow Flora

In the last two years due to the pandemic we have forgotten what it means to travel, to be free, to discover new places. Mental and anxiety problems have increased significantly in the population. I called this series of shots "Breathe" because, despite all the adverse situations in life, the problems, that feeling of weight on the chest and of the lump in one’s throat, while I was taking these photos I felt light as a feather, finally without thoughts. I tried to impress these emotions in my works, hoping to be able to convey this well-being to the viewer. Because there is no better feeling than sitting in front of a sunset, and Breathing. Just Breathe
