About this series

Sundance was captured over two trips to White Sands National Monument, New Mexico. Alexandra Watts, my muse and partner, booked our first trip as a birthday present and our second visit occurred when we were grounded by COVID and had to drive across the country from Miami to Seattle after art Basel. In both instances, we sought to create a feeling of fierce solitude using the greater landscape to frame the figure.
