This photograph was the goal of our second trip to White Sands. I captured the tree in this photograph in British Columbia, Canada. This photograph is a composite. I have wanted to use this beautiful tree skeleton in a new composition for years. When we found this basin, we set up here, spending more than 30 minutes dancing in place, finding the perfect representation of the tree limbs, and battling fierce winds.
