Traveling to Iceland, it’s accepting to lose all your landmarks. The whole country is very special and different from all the things I’ve seen in my life. One of the places I will surely remember the most was Diamond beach, with its thousands of icebergs of every size, rejected in the ocean from the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón and which washed up on the black sand shore. It was while wandering here on a very foggy day, the sun not far away giving across the mist a shy yellowish light, that I spotted this specific iceberg. Difficult to imagine, looking at the image, this iceberg was big enough to allow a person to lay on it, and was still bigger than the person. Making quick shots, trying to escape the waves, I finally ended up with this wonderful scenery.
Take a seat, breathe deeply and let your imagination go. Imagine the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks, the song of some seagulls resonating from the steep cliffs, the smell of the sea salt brought to you by the wind. Imagine a fresh breeze stroking your cheeks and the thin sand running on your feet. Look up, admire the clouds moving, and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.
