I feel lucky that I got to see the group of elephants on the very first day of my trip. Being an Indian, I was always fascinated with elephants as from ancient times, elephants have been an important part of our culture and traditions. But watching elephants in the wild is completely a different thing. I still remember we were very close to the group and all the elephants started moving away from us besides the one in the photograph. He stayed there for a while as if he was posing for me which instantly made me grab my 70-200mm lens and take this shot. It was such a candid moment to capture and it turned out one of my favorite elephant shots from the trip.
