The Survival

Leopard- known for their beautiful, patterned coats and extreme adaptability, the leopard is likely the most persecuted large cat in the world.

The Leopard in this image is a 1.5-year-old cub who lost her mother a few months back. She dared and learned to survive in such a challenging world and her bold eyes speak out loud that she is even able to fight back as good as her mother used to before she died.

Unfortunately, we missed the adventurous moments of the chase and kill but finally found her resting under a tree. The cub didn’t make us wait so long and started walking while carrying her hunt. Our guide stopped at a point, positioned the vehicle, and confidently singled us "get ready to shoot”. It was an unforgettable scene to watch as she walked toward us looking right into my camera. All I could hear was the music of shutter bursts.
