Jasper

There are more locations than just the famous Abraham Lake to capture unique ice patterns. These shapes are the only ones I have ever seen like this and were tucked away on a remote lake near Jasper, Alberta in the Canadian Rockies. It is very important for these landscapes to experience wind, which helps keep the snow from sticking to the lake and hiding all of the different patterns.
