A great reward after half a day of storm chasing I stopped at one of my favourite salt lakes a couple of hours from home to wait for sunset. I was waiting for a storm cell to come in from the north which got me excited because capturing lightning shots on sunset makes for an epic scene. Unfortunately, the storm cell dissipated as it got closer but there was enough of a gap on the horizon for the sun to beam on to the thin layer of water and interesting textures the lake had this day.
